Personal Story
My Name is Aidan Teleki and I got my first unicycle on my 13th birthday after I saw one of my best friends riding a unicycle. Just after a day I could start riding and a few weeks later I started basic tricks. At first I wanted to be a street and flatland rider, but after about a year and a half of unicycling I realized trials is what I was really interested in! Ever since I started I haven't been able to stop riding trials because for me riding trials is my favorite way to push my self and my limits. I also occasionally like to ride other styles as well but there is really nothing that can explain how much joy I get out of riding trials with my friends and and the crew.
Before I started unicycling I tried other sports as well, but after a few weeks or months I became bored and it gradually faded away from me. Unicycling at this point is still not a mainstream sport and I think that was a big factor that attracted me to it. It's such a fast growing sport with such a great community, but rather an amazing large family. Everyone knows each other and not just the pros names are known and I think that's really special.
